Christmas at the Yenadi Sangham

The Yenadi Children gathering at the MCCC as they get ready for the night's festivities.

On the 19th of December, Christmas joy was spread at the Yenadi Sangham. Over 130 people attended and were treated to an evening filled with celebration, fun, food and laughter.

Joyous celebrations at the Sangham putting smiles on the faces of the children.

Organized by SFIRD and RH, the Christmas event brought everyone together to celebrate the season, and local community leaders were present in a show of solidarity. The Christmas message was shared, reminding everyone the true meaning of this joyous season.

Ravi, reiterating the importance of the Mother and Child Care Center and its role in the transformation of the future for the community's children.

A Christmas dinner was provided to everyone present.

Everyone at the Yenadi Sangham were given Christmas palagaaram (special treats made only during Christmas season). The Sangham came alive with the sound of music and celebration.

A huge thank you to SFIRD for planning this event and providing a great time of holiday cheer. Without them none of this endeavor would be possible.

We are beautifully and memorably reminded of what is important in life especially during Christmas, which is summed up in the song Count Your Blessings.

When I'm worried and I can't sleep I count my blessings instead of sheep And I fall asleep counting my blessings When my bankroll is getting small I think of when I had none at all And I fall asleep counting my blessings Irving Berlin
