On September 1st, SFIRD and Restoration Humanity held a "Mini Medical & Health Camp" at the Yenadi Sangham in the morning. Eight out of the nine children with severe Impetigo were present. Dr. Rama Rao from the Guntur Government hospital examined and treated the children for the skin infection.

It was observed that the wounds were healing faster than expected, with approximately 80% of cases showing improvement or being fully healed. Two new cases were identified and promptly provided with medical services. Antibiotics, supplements, ointments, lotions, and medicated soaps were distributed to help treat the symptoms.

The visiting doctor conducted a 45-minute session with the parents of the affected children, focusing on the significance of personal hygiene, clothing, bathing, and dietary habits. Refreshments were served to all that were present.

Dr. Rama Rao assured that he will continue to monitor the children and their families in the coming months, and he plans to engage the local Government hospital in the next camp.
Restoration Humanity and SFIRD are committed to provide consistent follow-up and comprehensive medical care for these affected children. Our goals are to provide education and counseling to the children and families about the significance of hygiene and cleanliness.
